Fairbanks Ranch Country Club Wedding, Elena + Jeff

Fairbanks Ranch Country Club wedding! This is a little preview of Elena and Jeff’s Jewish wedding, a collection of a few black and white photographs that stood out to us during the course of enhancing the couple’s wedding images. Of course there are many more amazing images that tell a story, and in color (we love color!), but these few images convey a feeling of emotion that we love in these black and white tones. This was our first Jewish wedding, so much fun, and having watched ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ several times when I was growing up, kept me up to speed a bit, or so I felt and I sang along (in my head) to the familiar songs with the live band at the wedding reception.

Deshun and I have been wanting to do a sexy couple session where we can be the subjects for a change, and now after capturing Meride and Justin’s editorial style engagement session (inspired by Ralph Lauren perfume ads the bride loves) we are wanting to setup our session [our turn! ] more than ever! Loved working with these athletes, Meride is a volleyball player and Justin a pro football player in Canada, and the two of them had such great ideas for their session and were so much fun to work with! Twin Oaks Garden Estate, San Marcos Wedding | Nikki + Mike

We had fallen in love with the Twin Oaks Garden Estate the first time we photographed at this charming wedding venue, and were so excited to be back to photograph Nikki and Mike’s wedding in a fresh new way! This couple’s wedding was bursting with shades of purple, and of course lots of bling – so in love with Nikki’s sparkly heels! Posted a couple shoe shots below because I couldn’t decide which one I loved better (Nikki can I borrow those shoes sometime? ) A big shout out to Jerri Disney, her flowers are always so special and these arrangements were no exception. Nikki’s bouquet had a sparkly horseshoe broach attached to the base (Mike is Irish) and the bridesmaids’ bouquets had silver tags attached which displayed the corresponding girl’s name, love that! We were glad to be back at the beautiful Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach to photograph Jamie and Dylan’s wedding. We had fun with their gigantic bridal party, everyone was up for having a good time with us! Golf Course Wedding, Wedgewood Fallbrook, Missy + Matt

Glamorous touches make this Golf Course wedding at Wedgewood Fallbrook fun and flirty! Paris Hilton leopard shoes with pink bottoms for the girls, pink ties for the guys. Let’s not forget about the bling’d out bouquet holder, this was so fun to hold and to photograph…great for princess factor but a bit of a workout! We loved working with Missy for the 4th time already…and there’s a story behind that. Aside from the couple’s engagement session, we’ve photographed two weddings that Missy has been in. We were thrilled when all three friends who got engaged around the same time decided to have the same photographer to make the experience more personal. It’s been such a treat to be a part of all 3 weddings, first Stephanie and Johnny, then Maranda and Jonathan, and now finally Missy and Matt….and all in 9 months time! I think the girls are going to become ‘The Wedding Chicks’ or something and be the new wedding planning team, they’ve been planning all three weddings together back to back so they got it down now! San Diego Style Wedding Magazine Editorial Shoot

We’re excited to share an editorial shoot we photographed for San Diego Style Wedding Magazine. The magazine is in newsstands now, and we’re looking forward to seeing one of the images from this shoot featured as the cover image for the spring issues. We love the wedding dresses and fashion looks that are features here, and we’re stoked that our antique chair got to be a part of this shoot, since we use it as a prop here in the studio, as well as take it along on outdoor shoots and weddings when requested. Morning Treats at Dapper Images Studio

Morning treats at the Studio, early day for us today – rise and shine (ugh) just kidding, but yeah, we’re night owls. It’s a habit for us to start the day with a healthy breakfast, so since that’s out of the way, we’re munching on some toffee that Yasmine cooked up yesterday, paired with lattes! Yum yum! Those of you who know us well will know about our obsession with espresso and latte art, yes we’re crazy about our espresso machine, and we have tons of fun coming up with new coffee drinks! Yas poured a latte art heart for Deshun and a Rosetta Leaf for herself….in a few minutes there will be traces of foam in our mugs and crumbs on the plate, cheers!
