Escondido Auto Wrecking and Grape Day Park Trash The Dress :: Nicole + Joe

Nicole and Joe got married a year ago, and it was so great working with them again as we captured their TTD session, that they did to celebrate their anniversary!  Nicole was going for a grungy look, and we are so glad that a local salvage yard was open to us shooting at their place!  I love the dark eyes and chunky jewelry paired with the black heels, and how Joe wore a suit that he had in his closet and loosened his bow tie for a nonchalant look.  The overcast weather paired with our studio lights gave the images a moody feeling, and the car that was in the middle of the yard was so perfect!  The couple added a second location to their session, and we ended at Grape Day Park which offered a variety of scenery and of course the large fountain that Joe and Nicole jumped into – COLD!

Elaine + Rob’s Wedding | Riverwalk Golf Club

Here’s a little taste of Elaine and Rob’s wedding that took place last week at the Riverwalk Golf Club.  We just adore the bride’s blue shoes, and the patent leather groomsmen shoes.  The highlight of this venue is definitely the bridge, it is stunning, makes for some beautiful images!

Wanda + Nick's Wedding | Lutheran Church of Incarnation & Old Poway Park

It was a pleasure to shoot Wanda and Nick’s wedding ceremony and celebration!  They were already married, but today was the celebration and repeating of vows for them to share with friends and family.  Love how they traveled in style in the stunning white Zimmer, we made a stop at Old Poway Park for formal shots.  The scenery there has so much rugged charm and is such a perfect contrast to wedding attire – so glad Wanda climbed onto the train – one of my favorite shots!  Check out the cake topper……or kinda a cake topper even though it’s like fallen onto the cake…..passed out bride and groom with beers in their hands…..cute….I think….J/K, I got a kick out of it 🙂

Bridal Inspiration | Old Poway Park

It was such a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful team of creative wedding professionals, and to bring some inspiration to brides that are looking for bridal style ideas for their big day!  Below are our wonderful models – real brides – wearing the dresses they actually wore on the day of their wedding this past year.  Sally McCormack – Enchanted Bride, Tracy Singer – Pin-up Bride, Jayme Lubben – Goth Bride, Adriana Philips – 80’s Bride.  So much fun!  Hope you enjoy these wonderful ideas!  Thank you to Courtney of After The Engagement, our amazing coordinator who made this work with everyone’s crazy schedules, and for pulling together these for beautiful looks down to every last detail.  Ann of Flirt Makeup and Gerine of All Beauty by Gerine, who worked together to create the perfect hair and makeup, while Molly of B.Mookie Jewelry created some of the most elaborate bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings that I’ve ever seen!  Sally of Exquisite Blooms showed off her fantastic work, the flowers really were beautiful and set the tone for this fun photoshoot.  Thanks to everyone for making this a success!

Loren + Richard’s Wedding | Culver Events, Los Angeles

Loren + Richard’s wedding had so much eye candy, loved all the little creative details throughout the wedding day, lots of neat DIY ideas here!  So cute, the little button bouttoniere and button bouquet for the flower girl and ringbearer.  Loren loves the color purple, it was one of her wedding colors, everytime I turned around to photograph something in the girls getting ready room….it was purple.  Purple toothbrush, purple phone, purple lighter, purple bra strap, and the maid of honor’s cast was purple (she hurt her arm by falling off the electric bull at the bride’s bachelorette party!) along with all the other details for the actual wedding that were already purple….love it!

Check out our 'Rock 'n Roll Bride' feature!

We’re so happy to be featured on Rock ‘n Roll Bride We love Kat’s blog! Kat – aka ‘The Rock ‘n Roll Bride’  blogs about  “the charm and unique nature of ordinary people’s, extraordinary weddings….”  The image that was featured is what we call the ‘Good Luck Bridesmaid’ and we pulled it out of our archives from a wedding we shot a few years back from Jennifer + Michael’s wedding at Lake San Marcos Resort + Country Club
