Ceremony Magazine Featured Wedding

Twin Oaks Garden Estate is one of our favorite Garden wedding venues, and we were thrilled to find out that Laura and Trevor’s wedding got featured in Ceremony Wedding Magazine. We were honored to work with this sweet couple and we had so much fun capturing all the sweet, funny, happy moments, and all the beautiful details that were carefully and lovingly thought out. (and it was so very beautiful)

Love Story:
Seven years prior to their wedding day, Trevor spotted a beautiful girl on a Carlsbad beach. He recounted that story to Laura on their special day, typing in out and sending it to her on a heart shaped note card. On the cusp of their new chapter, it was a touching remembrance of how their love began.

Here is another wedding photography teaser for Brian and Bria, (hey guys, the rest are coming soon, promise). Love how they are leaning in for a kiss over this vintage car that was hangin’ out back at Menghini Winery.

Wedding photography teaser #1  at Julian Menghini Winery for Brian and Bria.  Nestled in the valley surrounded by apple orchards and foothills,  Menghini Winery is now one of my favorite wedding venues  to photograph.  In the photograph below,  while walking through an open field I suggested that the couple take a moment to themselves, and of course I would be waiting with my finger on the shutter to capture that moment!

Grape Day Park Engagement Session Photography, San Diego

From the moment we met Kallie we loved her personal style, and her ideas for the engagement session got us very excited.  We finally got to meet Blake at the engagement session.  Kallie’s vision was to be dressed in a casual outfit and cowboy boots, and her fiance Blake in a suit, (both outfits are what the couple would wear most days of the week) and have the shoot take place in a field.  Blake and Kallie are from Los Angeles, but came down to San Diego for their engagement session.  We scouted out and found this field specially for their shoot, (which looked extra pretty with the rain we had the previous week), and the session ended at Grape Day Park which worked out perfectly with the vintage elements the area had to offer.  Love that the couple brought balloons in their wedding color, which worked perfectly for the front of the Save The Date cards we created to tie in with the wedding theme.

San Diego Steele Canyon Golf Club Wedding Photography-Jamul, CA :: Stephanie + Johnny

Our first time photographing a wedding at Steele Canyon Golf Club was an amazing experience with Stephanie and Johnny!  We absolutely love this lush wedding venue, and the purples that were chosen to tell the color story went so well with the greenery and warm architecture that was present.  Loved the brides wedding shoes, so cute that there are little hearts on the bottom of them, and love the sparkly bridesmaids bracelets that the mother of the bride found on one of her shopping trips.  The couple had a traditional wedding ceremony, but with hispanic traditions as well, by exchanging the 12 coins, and the uniting with a cord.  I love that Johnny also said his vows in Spanish as well as english, video footage to come soon!  This San Diego wedding venue offered plenty of options for formal photographs, and following the newlywed photography, the couple entered the ballroom and danced their first dance right as the sun was setting through the large reception windows.  It was especially hard not to tear up during the ‘mother – daughter’ dance as Stephanie and her mom wiped tears from each others eyes.  Such a gorgeous wedding, one of my favorite wedding details was the brides intricate wedding dress, it was so beautiful on her!  And we just loved their wedding Dj, Electrifying Events – amazing job!

One of my favorite shots, I placed Stephanie’s veil in front of my lens to create this soft look.  Once the corners were aged a bit and the coloring was enhanced, this image really came to life.
