San Diego Wedding and Portrait Photographers offering fresh, stylish and modern photography
We had the pleasure of photographing 3 month old baby Scarlett – she is so precious! Deshun and I capture a lot of weddings, but it’s really tough to say what we love photographing better, our beautiful wedding couples or sweet little babies?! One thing for sure is that we’re totally in love with what we do and we are honored to get to photograph all the different moments and memories that life brings! xoxo ~ Yas + D

Once again we had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family, and this time with newborn baby Maël. (love that name!) We wanted the feel of this newborn baby and family session to have a natural, organic feel, with tender closeups of this two week old baby boy. The interaction between baby Maël and his parents and big sister was so sweet, and we know that these are going to be such great memories for the family to look back on!

Such beautiful innocence! It was a pleasure working with Tracy and Gregg and their newborn baby girl Kara at our studio. Tracy brought inspiring accessories for baby, such as ribbon and tulle (fun!), bows, a moses basket, and Kara’s favorite stuffed animal toy. The best props were mommy and daddy’s hands, arms, and lips, we adore the closeup images of Kara being held and loved by her parents! We hope you enjoy looking at these as much as we had creating them! Babies are such a blessing and we love being a part of capturing the bundles of joy!

Behind the scenes!
We are now in the process of enhancing baby Kara’s 5 week old newborn portrait photographs, and almost skipped passed these images Deshun took of me while I was helping position baby with daddy’s help, because they were just lighting test shots. Thought I’d share these with you all, and I look forward to posting the images of the end result…..she is a beautiful baby and I’m already falling in love with so many of the captured moments from this shoot.

Loved doing this maternity session where we could give Kristin two looks in one session, and where she could get a taste of both Deshun’s and my shooting style. I started off with Kristen in the studio (little babies in the tummy love cookies and milk, so I was sure to make a batch of my favorite chocolate chip cookies, click here to see the recipe, and I know Kristin loved them too!) giving her some clean and classic shots with a few of our different sets and studio lighting. She definitely has the glow, what a gorgeous mommy to be! Deshun took over for the beach part of our session, where Kristin was looking for some great pier shots and sillouettes to be incorporated into the shoot. It was such a gorgeous day, love the sunny shots, especially the one with the seagull flying above. Enjoy your teasers Kristen, the rest are coming soon!

Another chance to work with one of our amazing wedding couples and their family! This time around was for holiday family portraits, and it is truly a pleasure working with this fun bunch again. Their little doggies are so cute! Such a beautiful family, inside and out – love you guys! To see Nate and Christine’s vintage wedding click here.

It was such a pleasure working with this lovely family again. Lovin’ the outfit choices as always – I’m sure this is mommy’s doing. I dig the vintage feel and how all the colors go so well together. Really enjoyed working with Little Addison, so many of the cute little things she does remind me of the stages our little ones are going through right now – so sweet.

It was nice to see our previous pastors who used to be the senior pastors at Family Fellowship Church in Oceanside, but now are senior pastors at Visalia First Assembly in Visalia, CA. Pastor Mike and Karen came out for a little visit, and it gave us the chance to take some portraits for them! They decided on La Jolla Cove this time around – I love some of the shots taken by La Valencia Hotel and the images taken by the water and rocks are so pretty. It was a partly overcast day so the lighting was nice and even, but we still had some beautiful clouds, which I think really set the mood of the images. Enjoy your session previews guys, the rest are coming soon!
