San Diego Wedding and Portrait Photographers offering fresh, stylish and modern photography
Once again we had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family, and this time with newborn baby Maël. (love that name!) We wanted the feel of this newborn baby and family session to have a natural, organic feel, with tender closeups of this two week old baby boy. The interaction between baby Maël and his parents and big sister was so sweet, and we know that these are going to be such great memories for the family to look back on!

Behind the scenes!
We are now in the process of enhancing baby Kara’s 5 week old newborn portrait photographs, and almost skipped passed these images Deshun took of me while I was helping position baby with daddy’s help, because they were just lighting test shots. Thought I’d share these with you all, and I look forward to posting the images of the end result…..she is a beautiful baby and I’m already falling in love with so many of the captured moments from this shoot.

Another chance to work with one of our amazing wedding couples and their family! This time around was for holiday family portraits, and it is truly a pleasure working with this fun bunch again. Their little doggies are so cute! Such a beautiful family, inside and out – love you guys! To see Nate and Christine’s vintage wedding click here.

It was such a pleasure working with this lovely family again. Lovin’ the outfit choices as always – I’m sure this is mommy’s doing. I dig the vintage feel and how all the colors go so well together. Really enjoyed working with Little Addison, so many of the cute little things she does remind me of the stages our little ones are going through right now – so sweet.

Halloween 2010 -Dressing up our 2 1/2 and 4 year old was so much fun! Zion, was our little 70′s man, and thrift store finds, with a bit of help from daddy’s closet (this is actually Deshun’s tie) brought this costume together. Zion’s still a bit camera shy so we had to do most of his shots candidly. He probably wouldn’t mind taking a few shots if he didn’t want to play on the playground so bad, but he’s definitely not one to sit and pose in front of the camera like his older sister. Delaini is our cute little tinker fairy – such a trip seeing her as a blonde! Makeup done by mommy, she was so good sitting still while I glittered her up! We spent our evening volunteering by shooting costume shots in our photo station for Family Fellowship Church’s annual Fun Fest. The church mails these snapshots to attendees as a way of reaching out to the community. Grandma came to help out and watch the kids play games, get their faces painted, eat carnival food, and jump in the kiddie bouncers to their hearts content, and needless to say, they slept amazingly last night.

Fun fun fun, another awesome shoot with these cute little girls. This is my third year photographing Cierra, Kayla, and Cheyanne, and this time we had another addition, their baby sister Cassidy. She loves the camera just like her sisters! Bates Nut Farm was the perfect backdrop with those humongous pumpkins, corn stalks, bales of hay, wheelbarrows, and overgrown sunflowers. Their stylist (mom), put flowers in their hair, rope for a belt, and bare feet to give them a relaxed, rustic but fun look. I love the photo session locations their mom picks for the girls each year. Click here to see last year’s session that took place with the girls’ horse at their stable, and included chaps, polo shirts and riding boots.

Delaini, our 3 year old changes her clothes 3-5 times a day, she carries a bag around with her all day that holds all her ‘princess’ dresses, all she wants to wear are dresses. She was looking so cute today so I pulled her by the window in our living room to take some shots of her, our 2 year old Zion joined in after a bit. They are best buddies, I love to see them being so sweet with each other.

These cute kids made my day, they really put a smile on my face! Cierra, Kayla and Cheyanne are return clients, the girls are always a joy to work with! They had some shot suggestions of their own, I loved all their great ideas. Look at their eyes, they just sparkle. (I did not retouching to their eyes….amazing) I know these sisters are always going to be such good friends to each other, it’s been great watching you grow.
